A creative way to show your artwork

Geïnspireerd door de tig foto's van ontwerpers die hun werken voor zich vasthouden is Handvas gewoon te leuk om niet te tonen. Het is een originele manier om uw kunstwerk of posters of ... op te hangen en te showen. De handjes zijn gemaakt met een 3D-printer en zijn verkrijgbaar in 2 maten.

Inspired by the many pictures of designers who hold their work in front of them Handvas is just too cute not to show. It's an original way to display your artwork or posters or ... . The hands are made with a 3D printer and are available in 2 sizes.

WrongWoods

Eigenlijk al een ontwerp van 2007 maar het blijft hedendaags en leuk om naar te kijken. WrongWoods is een samenwerking tussen Richard Woods en Sebastian Wrong en is uitgegeven bij Established & Sons. En stiekem is het een makkelijke DIY, een fel kleurtje, met zwarte verf de nerven van het hout volgen en tadaa!

Actually a design from 2007 but it remains contemporary and fun to watch. WrongWoods is a collaboration between Richard Woods and Sebastian Wrong and is distributed by Established & Sons. And secretly it is an easy DIY, a bright color, follow with black paint the grain of the wood and tadaa!

The UP table

'The UP table' is een ontwerp van Christopher Duffy. Blijkbaar is hij geïnspireerd door deze quote: Growing old is compulsory, growing UP is optional - Bob Monkhouse. Stiekem denk ik toch dat de Pixar film 'Up' er iets mee te maken had. Het optisch effect is natuurlijk de blikvanger, zo ook de prijs.

'The UP table' is a design by Christopher Duffy. Apparently he was inspired by this quote: Growing old is compulsory, growing UP is optional - Bob Monkhouse. Secretly I still think the Pixar movie 'Up' had something to do with it. The optical effect is of course the focal point, so is the price.

2 ontwerpen die me allebei aan mijn zorgeloze kindertijd doen denken. De ene aan de snoepjes en de andere aan de dikke houten kralen in knalkleurtjes van vroeger. Waarvoor een lelijke draad van een hanglamp toch niet kan dienen.

2 designs which both reminds me of my carefree childhood. The one of the sweets and the other of the thick wooden beads in bright colors from the past. What an ugly wire of a pendant cannot do.

Wishlist: LED Mushroom lights

Heel mooi ontwerp van de Japanner Yukio Takano die zijn inspiratie vond in de bossen en de kleine paddestoelen. Aangezien ik een fan ben van de natuur staat deze uiteraard op mijn wishlist. De website staat in het Japans dus het is niet echt gemakkelijk om uit te zoeken waar het te koop is :)

Very nice design by Japanese designer Yukio Takano who found inspiration in the woods and the small mushrooms. Because I am a fan of nature, this is off course on my wishlist. The website is in Japanese so it's not really easy to find out where it is for sale :)
