Moss Carpet in your bathroom

Een beetje groen binnenbrengen in uw interieur is altijd verfrissend (en gezond) en waarom niet in de vorm van een mostapijt? Beeld je in dat je net gedoucht hebt en in plaats van op een doodgewone badmat stap je nu op een zacht, zompig mostapijt.

De badkamer is de ideale plaats aangezien het er met tijden vochtig en warm is, en de paar druppels die je op het tapijt morst is meteen ook hun voeding. Dit is waarschijnlijk enkel een denkoefening van ontwerper Nguyen La Chanh maar zoiets zie ik graag in 'productie' komen. Of een leuke DIY om zelf eens uit te testen :)

A little green entry into your home is always refreshing (and healthy) and why not in the form of a moss carpet? Imagine that you have just showered and instead of stepping on an ordinary bathmat, your feet land on a soft, squishy carpet of moss.

The bathroom is the ideal place since it is hot and humid with times, and the few drops that you spill on the carpet is also their nutrition. This is probably just a brainstorming exercise of designer Nguyen La Chanh but something I like to see come in 'production'. Or a fun DIY project :)

Eclectic interior in Byron Bay

Dit mooie interieur behoort toe aan het huis van kunstenaar David Bromley en zijn vrouw Yuge in het verre Australië, nl. Byron Bay. Vooral het grafische van dit interieur spreekt me enorm aan. De muurschilderingen en de prachtige plaids zou ik zo willen integreren in mijn toekomstig huisje. Kijk en geniet en laat u inspireren! Bekijk de hele reportage hier.

This beautiful interior belongs to the house of artist David Bromley and his wife Yuge in Australia, namely Byron Bay. Especially the graphics of this interior appeals to me. Leuk idee: in plaats van gestreept behangpapier te gebruiken schilder je de strepen. En het feit dat het 'slordig' gedaan is maakt de muur interessanter.

Nice idea: instead of using a striped wallpaper you just paint the stripes. And the fact it's done 'sloppy' makes the wall more interesting.

Veruit de coolste kamer van het hele huis. Die muurtekening!

WrongWoods

Eigenlijk al een ontwerp van 2007 maar het blijft hedendaags en leuk om naar te kijken. WrongWoods is een samenwerking tussen Richard Woods en Sebastian Wrong en is uitgegeven bij Established & Sons. En stiekem is het een makkelijke DIY, een fel kleurtje, met zwarte verf de nerven van het hout volgen en tadaa!

Actually a design from 2007 but it remains contemporary and fun to watch. WrongWoods is a collaboration between Richard Woods and Sebastian Wrong and is distributed by Established & Sons. And secretly it is an easy DIY, a bright color, follow with black paint the grain of the wood and tadaa!
